…providing the largest dedicated gaming space in the city of Toronto: room for seven 4' x 6' terrain tables or seating for over 60 card players

…maintaining a clean, bright and well organized environment

In order to continue offering you our best, please observe the following store policies when visiting:

A Clean Store
Our staff works hard to keep Dueling Grounds clean. We ask that customers refrain from eating or drinking in the store's retail area located on the main floor. You may eat & drink in our dedicated gaming space located downstairs. Chewing gun is banned from the store as it repeatedly finds its way to the floor. Please report any messy accidents immediately so we can clean it up as soon as possible.

Dueling Grounds is a big fan of recycling. We re-use shopping bags that are brought from home or donated by customers. A paper recycling bin sits at the end of our counter. A plastics & glass recycling bin is located at the bottom of the stairs. Please use the appropriate bins.

Food & Drink
Players are welcome to bring in outside food & drink with the following exceptions: NO McDonald's, KFC, Taco Bell or Burger King. The chemicals in those foods have too strong a fragrance.
NO chewing gum*. Unfortunately for responsible gum chewers, this repeatedly finds its way to the floor. *Medicinal gum is allowed (e.g. nicotine gum).

Eating & drinking is only allowed in our dedicated gaming space located downstairs from the main floor. Please keep all food & drink* off the scenery tables. *Water is allowed.

Your Dedicated Gaming Space
Our dedicated gaming space is provided for your leisure. It's FREE to use! Please take care of it by observing the following rules:
• Always handle the available scenery with care and return it to its proper place.
• If you're setting up an extra table, please take it back down when you're finished.
• When you're finished with your space it should be clear of all garbage.
• Do not lean back in our chairs. This causes damage and possible injury to you.
• Please keep all food & drink* off the scenery tables. *Water is allowed.
• Do not use aerasol sprays (e.g. spray primer) without permission.

Due to some in-store events, space may be limited. To ensure space availability, please call the store in advance to reserve tables. This is a FREE service. Please refer to our SCHEDULE OF EVENTS before planning your game. Events in bold indicate an anticipated high attendance.

Store Credit & Gift Certificates
Store Credit is the same as money that you can spend on anything in the store. It may not be used on sale prices. Customers may accumulate store credit as a prize or as value on a singles trade to the store. Store credit expires* after 1 year. *Because this is a barter system, store credit is not subject to the non-expirey law of gift certificates.

Gift Certificates may be used at any time on any merchandise and never expire. Any unspent amount from the gift certificate becomes store credit. Store credit from gift certificates are not subject to the store credit restrictions.

Zero Tolerance
Shoplifting is very damaging to the store's health. Anyone caught shoplifting will be persecuted to the full extent of the law. This includes even the smallest of infractions.

Personal Theft is just as damaging to a store's reputation. Anyone caught stealing from another player or customer will be immmediately ejected from the store and banned for life. We will always testify on behalf of victims when called upon.

Cheating destroys the integrity at any event. The judging staff at our store will always enforce cheating penalties to the full extent. If the infraction is severe enough, the offending player will be immediately ejected from the tournament without a refund. In some extreme cases they may be asked to leave the store property.
